Every great idea is really just a spectacular disagreement with some other great idea.

Creativity and innovation are hard because they tend to only take place when people with very diverse ideas, opinions and beliefs come together to collaborate. When these different ideas collide it leads to disagreement . How individuals and groups deal with this disagreement determines whether they will be innovative, creative and ultimately successful. If disagreements are not managed well, they can quickly escalate into conflict and confrontation. If this happens and the disputes become personal it can damage relationships as well as the creative and decision-making process . But when people disagree constructively it can result in a valuable cross-fertilization of ideas that leads to better results.
